Started out with the production of his first music–comedy album “Com-fusion” [stands for comedy fussion] between August 2002 and January 2003. Having listened to inspirational music – comedy songs from the late Gbenga Adeboye [one of Nigeria’s greatest ever] and the interest he picked from having to do music by all means necessary [whether or not it pays]. Koffi since he started doing music has never been paid to do music live. This is due to his philosophy that he would never mime his own songs. What is worth singing at all is worth singing well-with a live ensemble.

Work has started in full swing on ROOT 'N' ROLL album featured to be released in 2010 and KOFFI: COLLABORATION & CURTAIN CALL. A double CD complilation of previous unreleased songs and collaborations with other artistes
